BBC Radio Scotland – City Break with Tots

vintage-1216720_1280This time on Radio Scotland Fiona Stalker and I chatted about embarking on a City Break with cherubs – it’s not like the old days when you got a tiny, trendy apartment, drank in the latest bars and slept in.  Things have changed.  I overdid things a bit when we were in Turin so I learnt my lesson and tried to have a more chilled time when we hit Glasgow.  Find out more by clicking here then go to 00.24.00-00.31.20 to listen.

Sites we discussed include the Science Centre on the river, the Kelvingrove Museum and park, the People’s Palace and Winter Gardens on Glasgow Green (and the epic playpark) and the National Museum of Rural Life in East Kilbride.

We ate in Fanelli’s in Merchant Square and Bill’s on West Nile Street and stayed in the Travelodge on Queen Street.
